When I work at the bookstore the bosses let me pick what I want to listen to on XM. I listen to the indie rock station there. Here are some bands that I've recently discovered that you should check out:

*I actually saw The National open for Arcade Fire a few years ago and forgot about them.
I like working at the bookstore an awful lot. It's not too bad. I get to listen to good music and let my brain rest by doing lots of brainless work. It's kinda relaxing.

You work at a bookstore? Since when and which one?! I'm so jealous because my favorite job was working in a bookstore and if it paid NEARLY as well as the job I have now, I'd be doing that instead. :)
I work at the Book Gallery downtown for my friends Andy and Jen, who bought it back in '06. It's minimum wage, but it's fun and I enjoy it as a diversion from the real, more adult serious job that pays my bills.
err, in '07, I mean.
Very cool. I love bookstores!!! I take my kids to them all the time, and I always look for new ones on vacation:) I'll have to stop in and check yours out the next time I'm in Winc.
